What your employees get
Private, professional support that is easy to use.
Everything an employee needs to get help early, in one place, on their own phone.
Employees join with a personal invitation, a company link or QR code, or an access code. MindCare works in the browser on any smartphone or computer, so there is nothing to download.
Sessions that fit their day
Video, phone and chat sessions from anywhere in Zambia, plus in-person sessions with professionals who offer them (currently in Lusaka and Chipata). Sessions are usually 50 minutes.
Qualified professionals
Clinical and counselling psychologists, psychiatrists, counsellors and psychotherapists, and marriage and family therapists. Employees choose who they see from real profiles.
Checked before they see anyone
Every professional is checked before approval: national ID, qualifications, professional registration and practising licence (Health Professions Council of Zambia), and a professional reference.
Care in their language
Sessions in English, Bemba and Nyanja today, with more Zambian languages as the network grows. Employees can filter professionals by language.
Book in minutes
Employees see each professional’s real available times and book straight away in the app, with reminders before every session. No waiting list to join.
Support between sessions
Self-guided programmes on stress, burnout, sleep, money worries and more, 2-minute wellbeing check-ins, breathing and meditation, a private journal, and Tula, an AI wellbeing companion available any time.
Completely confidential
Their employer never sees who uses MindCare, who they see, or anything they say, write or answer. HR sees only anonymous totals for groups of 10 or more.
Employer led, partner enabled
Built for corporate workforces. Extended through selected partners.
Corporate employers are the primary focus. MindCare can also work with insurers, education providers, NGOs, government and care partners where they help fund or extend access.

Plans
Three plans. One confidential programme.
Every plan is priced per employee per month and quoted for your organisation, based on how many people are covered, the plan and any funded sessions. Ask for a quote and we will reply with a written proposal.
Organisations receive only aggregate programme information and the operational records needed to administer the benefit. Figures for any group smaller than 10 people are never shown, so no one can be singled out.
The HR portal
Everything HR needs to run the programme.
One secure portal for your HR team and, if you choose, your line managers. Each person sees only what their role allows.

Privacy, safety and data protection
Trust is part of the programme.
What your legal, IT and HR teams will want to know.
Confidential by design
Employers never see who uses MindCare, who they see, or anything said, written or answered. Reports show anonymous totals only, and any group smaller than 10 people is hidden so no one can be singled out.
Data protection
Built around Zambia’s Data Protection Act No. 3 of 2021. Health information is treated as sensitive personal data, collected with the employee’s consent, used only to provide care and never shared with employers. A data processing agreement is available for your legal team, and we are happy to answer questions about where data is hosted.
Security
All traffic is encrypted. Access is limited by role, so each person sees only what their job needs, and administrative actions are recorded in an audit log.
Safety and safeguarding
MindCare is not an emergency service. Every screen has a “Need help now?” button with Zambia’s emergency numbers (991 police, 992 ambulance). If someone writes in the app that they may be at risk, MindCare’s safeguarding team is alerted. Their employer is not told who.
Clinical quality
Professionals are approved only after their ID, qualifications, professional registration, practising licence and a reference are checked. Employees can review every session.
About Tula, the AI companion
Tula offers self-care exercises and a place to talk things through at any hour. It does not diagnose or replace a professional, encourages people to book a session when that would help, and points to urgent help when needed.
Request a corporate consultation
Let us design the right employee programme together.
Tell us about your workforce size, locations and current employee support. This is an initial corporate enquiry, not a clinical assessment or formal registration.
Can an organisation see an employee or member’s therapy records?
No. Therapy conversations, journals, check-in answers, diagnoses and clinical notes are never made available to the employer or sponsor. Reporting is anonymous and only covers groups of 10 or more people.
Can our managers see who is using MindCare?
No. Managers and HR never see who has activated MindCare, booked a session, joined a programme or answered a check-in. Even confidential referrals do not tell you whether the person took up the offer.
How is pricing set?
Each plan is priced per employee per month. Your quote depends on how many people are covered, the plan you choose and how many sessions the company funds. You can start with a pilot or a fixed bundle of sessions, so costs stay predictable. Request a quote and we will send a written proposal.
How is the programme invoiced?
Invoices are issued in Kwacha, and payment terms are set out in your agreement. Funded sessions are paid from your company therapy wallet, and the portal shows the balance and spend by month.
What happens if an employee needs more sessions than the plan covers?
They can keep seeing the same professional and pay for further sessions themselves, including by Mobile Money. If you want to fund more, you can top up the wallet or ask us to change the session limit. Your current agreement stays in place until a change is confirmed.
How quickly can an employee see someone?
There is no waiting list to join. Employees see each professional’s real available times and book straight away in the app.
Are family members covered?
On Business Enterprise you can cover up to four family members per employee, such as a spouse or adult children, each with their own private account. Family cover can be discussed for other plans.
Where in Zambia does MindCare work?
Video, phone and chat sessions work anywhere in Zambia with a mobile connection. In-person sessions depend on where each professional practises, currently Lusaka and Chipata.
Does MindCare replace our current EAP?
It can, or it can run alongside your existing provider. Many employers start with a pilot for one site or group and compare.
Do we need to know our exact programme size?
No. An estimate is enough for the first consultation. Eligibility and expected use can be refined during programme design.
Can a small team use MindCare?
Yes. Employees in a small team get the same confidential care. To protect privacy, HR reports never show a figure for any group smaller than 10 people, so very small teams receive programme and billing summaries rather than usage breakdowns.
Is consultation the same as formal registration?
No. The consultation helps define the programme. Formal registration, verification and administrator access follow the organisation registration process.
Can members use Mobile Money or insurance?
Employees paying for themselves can use Mobile Money (MTN, Airtel, Zamtel). Company-funded sessions come from your wallet, and sponsored or insurance funding can be set up where your agreement includes it.
